While this literature in no way should replace a visit to your vet, many pet owners have found them to helpful resources from time to time.

AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Includes
- S.T.A.R Puppy is for dogs starting as early as 8 weeks
- Organized training that provides the opportunity to socialize with other dogs and people.
- We will answer all of your puppy raising questions including mouthing, potty training, jumping up, and chewing.
- Behaviors include watch me, walking on a loose leash, come when called, and more will be worked on throughout the 6-week course.
- S.T.A.R. Puppy test given at the end of the course.
Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) Class Includes
- Greets a friendly stranger, sits politely for petting, welcomes being handled, walks on a loose leash, moves politely through a crowd and around other dogs, sits, lies down, and stays in place on command, comes when called, reacts with confidence to distractions, can be left with a trusted person.
- CGC certification is a prerequisite for therapy dog certifications.
