Appointment Policy
To allow sufficient time for our veterinarians to spend with all of our patients and their scheduled surgical procedures each day, Indian Tree Animal Hospital operates primarily by appointment. Emergency and urgent care cases will always receive top priority, which is why we ask for your patience should an occasional appointment delay occur. While we make every effort to see each client and their pet on time, there are occasions when sick pets and the advanced diagnostics needed for their cases can cause minor delays in our veterinary schedule.
If a client will be 10 minutes or more late, we ask that they call. We ask that they reschedule or drop their pet off to be seen in between regularly scheduled appointments with our doctor.
Patient Arrival Policy
For your protection, and that of our other clients and their pets, all dogs must be leashed and properly controlled while in the reception area and/or exam rooms. For cats, we kindly ask that they be in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash. While we make every effort to make our patients comfortable throughout their visits, it is not at all unusual for animals to be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that dogs and cats be placed on a leash or in pet carriers prior to entering the waiting area.
For the safety of all pets in our care, we require that all vaccinations be up to date.
