AmandaAmanda “AJ” - Office Manager
Amanda Jahn's favorite parts of being Office Manager are interacting with clients and their pets as well as assisting with staff development to provide quality customer and patient care. AJ's compassion and love of animals is apparent in everything she does at Indian Tree. AJ graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor's in Marine Biology. While doing her undergraduate she traveled to Australia and studies for 5 months at James Cook University in Townsville, Queensland. After graduating, she spent one year of her time in the Florida Keys and volunteered at The Dolphin Research Center. She also volunteered at Colorado's Ocean Journey (now Downtown Aquarium). This helped solidify that she wanted to work with animals but that Colorado is her forever home. She shares her home with her husband, 3 parakeets (Tranquility, Casper, Niji) and dogs: Rigby, a Collie mix, and Tater Tot, a Chiweenie.

VeronicaVeronica - Certified Veterinary Technician
Veronica is a Certified Veterinary Technician at Indian Tree Animal Hospital. She earned her Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Colorado State University, and her Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology from Front Range Community College. She has worked in the veterinary industry since 2016, and interned at Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital before coming to 5280 Veterinary Care. Her favorite part of working in the veterinary field is creating a relationship with clients and their pets. Veronica has lived in Colorado her entire life and currently resides in Northglenn with her husband, border collie mix, and four cats. In her spare time you can find her reading, as she considers herself a bookworm!

MollyMolly - Certified Veterinary Technician
Molly is a Certified Veterinary Technician at Indian Tree Animal Hospital, and is passionate about the environment and wildlife. In 2013, she attended the Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology and went on to complete her internship at Indian Tree Animal Hospital. Molly was inspired to work in the veterinary field by her love of science and helping animals. Originally from northeast WI, she moved to Aurora, CO in 2010 and shares a home with her husband and their dog, Ripley; two cats, Zedd and Bella; and King Snake, Beatrix. In her spare time she enjoys video games, and art with ethically sourced animal bones.

Megan HooserMegan - Certified Veterinary Technician
Megan Hooser is a Certified Veterinary Technician at Indian Tree Animal Hospital. She attended the Pima Medical Institute in 2018 for her Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology, and is a member of the Colorado Association of Certified Veterinary Technicians. She began working in the veterinary industry in 2017, and her areas of professional interest include pet dentistry and surgery. She says the best part about working in the veterinary field is being around animals all day, as it is the most gratifying part of her job. She also loves the diverse tasks that keep her learning on a daily basis. Megan grew up in Austin, TX and currently lives in Arvada, CO with her two amazing cats, Zui and Zip; a scruffy Maltese mix, Bernie; and a beautiful Australian Shepherd, Banksy. In her free time she enjoys live music, hiking, gardening, and spending time with her family, friends and pets. A fun fact about Megan is that she has a deep love for sloths!

LisaLisa - Technician Supervisor
Originally from Central Pennsylvania, Lisa earned a bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in French from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She moved to the Denver area in 2013 and started working in the veterinary field shortly after. Lisa has special interests in animal behavior, exotic species, wildlife conservation, bees, and large cats. At home, Lisa has a menagerie of pets. She has three DSH cats named Gadget, Milo, and Linus, a Maine Coon named Jackson, and a DSH foster cat named Cheat. She also has one Miniature Australian Shepherd, Watson, four snakes, one gecko and one axolotl salamander. In her free time, Lisa enjoys camping, hiking, spending time outdoors, snowboarding, and volunteering at Colorado Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation. A fun fact about Lisa is that she used to work as a zookeeper in a zoo that specialized in reptiles and amphibians.

MeghanMeghan - Veterinary Technician
Meghan is committed to helping the patients at Indian Tree as a Veterinary Technician. She earned her veterinary assistant certificate from PIMA Medical Institute in 2016, and also received some training from Front Range Community College. Meghan found a passion in veterinary medicine, and is driven to attend veterinary school with a possible focus in specialty surgery. In her free time, Meghan enjoys going to concerts, walking her dogs, traveling, and hula hooping. Her favorite breeds are Golden Retrievers and Pomeranians. At home, she has a Pomeranian named Mecca and a Chihuahua named Elle.

KaitlinKaitilin - Veterinary Technician
Kaitlin rejoined the Indian Tree Family in 2019. She was born and raised in Lakewood, CO and after studying Biology and Biomedical sciences at CSU, moved back to the Denver area to be with her family in 2013. She shares her home with her 2 dogs, Remi and Grace, and 3 special needs cats, Mr., Homer, and Kitty. In her spare time she enjoys running, camping, fishing, and spending time with family and friends.

SarahSarah - Veterinary Assistant
Born and raised in the Denver area, Sarah has worked in the veterinary field since 2008. Caring for pets, meeting people, and being part of a stand-out hospital team brings Sarah much joy. When Sarah is not at Indian Tree, she enjoys fixing things, arts and crafts, and camping. She is also interested in the paranormal and ghost hunting. German Shepherds and Pomeranians hold a special place in Sarah’s heart. Her first pet was a Pomeranian named Angel, and she currently has a White German Shepherd named Yoshi.

McKenzieMcKenzie - Veterinary Assistant
McKenzie received training as a veterinary assistant from PIMA Medical Institute. She has lived in the Denver area her whole life, and she loves helping all of the pets from the local community that come through the doors at Indian Tree. Outside of the hospital setting, McKenzie likes attending concerts and traveling. She is also a big fan of sushi and Harry Potter. Her favorite breeds are Sphynx felines and Golden Retrievers. Her first pet was a Golden Retriever named Buddy, and she now has a Golden Retriever/Labrador mix named Bear.

WendyWendy - Client Care Representative and Technician
Wendy holds a certificate in veterinary assisting and takes pride in forming positive relationships with clients and their pets, along with the amazing staff at Indian Tree. In her free time, Wendy likes 4-wheeling, special fx makeup, cake decorating, and going to concerts and Comic Con. Wendy grew up in Arvada and still can’t get enough of Amici’s italian cuisines. At home, she has a PitBull named Chopper, a Cane Corso mix named Harlene Quinn, and four cats named Angel, Jack, Scrappy, and Spike.

AshleyAshley - Client Care Representative Supervisor
Ashley grew up in Arvada, and is is thrilled to serve the local pet community as a Client Care Representative Supervisor at Indian Tree Animal Hospital. In her free time, Ashley enjoys cooking, painting, and spending time with her husband and daughter. Ashley also volunteers at her daughter's school, where she assists with reading and writing, as well as lends a helping hand for as many school functions as she can. At home, Ashley has three cats: Neville Longbottom, Zoey and Teacup.

AmandaAmanda - Client Care Representative
Amanda is a Client Care Representative at Indian Tree Animal Hospital. Originally from Taos, New Mexico, a veritable artist mecha, Amanda has a love for music and other creative outlets. In particular, she likes illustration, painting, and playing the violin. At home, Amanda has three feline friends: Mischa, Momo, and The Reverend Grimm.

CarrieCarrie - Client Care Representative
Carrie George is a Customer Care Representative at Indian Tree Animal Hospital. She graduated in 2010 from John Brown University with a bachelor's in psychology, and is currently studying zoology at Colorado State University. Her areas of professional interest include veterinary medicine, wildlife research, and marine research. She loves working at Indian Tree Animal Hospital with an amazing team of animal lovers; all working towards the same goal of helping people and their pets. Carrie was born and raised in Frisco, CO and currently calls Arvada home with her Spinone Italiano dog, Jake; and domestic shorthair cat, Roswell. In her spare time, Carrie enjoys reading, hiking, camping, and spending time with her family and friends. A fun fact about Carrie is that she first learned to ski when she was just three years old.
